Cleanroom Synchronized Digital Clock for Pharmaceutical Facilities

GMP-compliant synchronized clocks that keep every production floor, QC lab, and documentation room on the same timestamp. Sync master and slave clocks over wireless RF or wired Modbus. An optional PoE/Ethernet connection can pull server or NTP time from your network. Built for data integrity and audit readiness under Schedule M and 21 CFR Part 11.

Why it matters

Synchronized Time Is a Compliance Requirement, Not a Convenience

In pharmaceutical manufacturing, accurate time is a compliance requirement. Batch manufacturing records, environmental monitoring systems, quality control documentation, electronic audit trails, CAPA investigations, and process validation activities all depend on precise, synchronized timestamps.

When clocks across production areas, laboratories, warehouses, and documentation departments display different times, discrepancies creep into critical records, creating challenges during GMP audits and FDA regulatory inspections. A single wireless RF or wired Modbus synchronized clock network removes that risk facility-wide.

Features

Built for GMP Environments

Wireless RF & Modbus Synchronization
Master and slave clocks sync over wireless RF or wired Modbus (RS485), so no NTP server is required. All clocks display identical time facility-wide, improving data integrity and documentation accuracy, with auto-corrected drift.
GMP-Friendly Design
Available in stainless steel cleanroom enclosures (SS 304, IP65) with a smooth, crevice-free flush-mount face that supports standard cleaning and disinfection protocols.
High-Visibility LED Display
2.5″ display visible up to 25 m; 4″ display visible up to 40 m. 6-digit HH:MM:SS super-bright red LED, suitable for production areas, labs, warehouses, and documentation rooms.
Flexible Connectivity Options
Wireless RF, Modbus RTU (RS485), or PoE/Ethernet. PoE-connected clocks can also pull server or NTP time from your network. Integrates with BMS, SCADA, and existing facility networks with no new infrastructure required.
Integration

Network Synchronization

One master clock distributes time to every slave clock on the network over wireless RF or wired Modbus (RS485), with no dedicated cabling or new infrastructure required. Where the facility network provides it, a PoE/Ethernet-connected master can also pull server or NTP time; NTP is not a built-in requirement.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the clocks stay synchronized? Do I need an NTP server?
No NTP server is required. The master clock pushes time to every slave clock over wireless RF or wired Modbus (RS485), keeping every display accurate to within milliseconds. If your facility runs a network time server, a PoE/Ethernet-connected master can optionally pull server or NTP time as its source, but this is a connectivity option, not a requirement.
Is this clock suitable for ISO-classified cleanrooms?
Yes. The stainless steel cleanroom clock (SS 304, IP65) with flush-mount installation is suitable for ISO Class 5 through ISO Class 8 environments and supports standard cleanroom disinfection protocols.
How many clocks can be synchronized in one system?
Up to 106 slave clocks via RS485 (wired), or up to 256 slave clocks via wireless RF, suitable for large multi-zone pharmaceutical campuses.
Does the clock maintain time during a power outage?
Yes. Built-in battery backup maintains accurate time display during power interruptions, and the clock auto-resynchronizes with the master clock once power is restored.
What communication protocols are supported?
Wireless RF, Modbus RTU (RS485), and PoE/Ethernet, enabling integration with BMS, SCADA, PLC, and building automation systems. NTP and SNTP time can be pulled over the PoE/Ethernet connection where a network time server is available.
